Wedding season has fully started and brides have made some pretty big decisions through the process. Picking a venue, food, decor, guest and lets not forget the dress. Oh, yes, the dress! Brides of 2018 are taking risks and looking amazing. Capes and Cover-ups, Power Suits, 3D Floral Appliqué,Victorian-Inspired and Boho Princess designs are just a few you will see this season.
We all know there are certain things for our wedding day that must be just right. Top of that list is the bride herself. Being the focal point of the day means "the look" must be a statement that awes the room. Lets take a look at bride Sarah's inspiration for her big day:
"My “look” inspiration was old classic “mad men” inspired and for Saturday I wanted to be sleek and comfortable."
"The dress I wore for my wedding reception was actually the one I had picked out on Urban Set Bride’s website. I sent the image as an example of the kind of dress I was looking for to the salon owner, but I did not expect it to actually look good on me! It was the first dress I tried on and I have no regrets. My ceremony dress was an online purchase and to be honest I wasn’t so sure about it. I had a very specific idea in mind for my ceremony look and I was just hoping I could pull it off."
"Fortunately with my awesome hair and makeup for the big day the whole look came together and I knew I made the right choice with the dress!"
"I was very nervous about all the attention but I ended up not feeling too overwhelmed and loved seeing everyone. I felt amazing so didn’t mind the attention too much. My husband thought I looked so amazing. He doesn’t like a lot of heavy makeup so the way mine was done was perfect."
At the end of the night...
"I had a mix of feelings when the big weekend was over. I was relieved in one sense and happy to recap the events with my family, but I was also sad because it was the best weekend of my life and I wanted to do it all again!"
